Anyone know of any reputable shops? Thinking about getting a tattoo on my shoulder in the next few weeks (first one!!), and I want to get a feel for pricing and design ideas.
Below is the main design element of my tattoo design. The symbol has been used before, so I'm having my cousin design something around it. I want it to cover most of my shoulder.

Pretty gay tattoo, but I went to Evolved on High St to get mine. It's pricey, but you know what they say, a cheap tattoo isn't good and a good tattoo isn't cheap.

Evolved is like six feet from my apartment. But yeah, that design is pretty gay. And you misspelled 'element'.

I've seen far worse tattoo's, but that doesn't mean I necessarily like the tattoo above. Never really understood the fascination with the Chinese characters.

Staind Skin or Evolved. Both are rather pricey, but as said....do good work.

Um...it's not Chinese, it's actually a Ghanian symbol. Taken from my West African Heritage. So thank you for insulting my heritage you bastards...lol

Ehh...I'm not getting a tattoo to impress the guys, so it's all good, I've seen so many sculls, scriptures, and wire for me to know I don't want something like that. I want something that means something to me and my family. I'm going to check out Evolved, High Street Tattoo, and Staind Skin this weekend. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

My bad on the assumption. I really do think it's a pretty cool design and if I were to get a tattoo I'd get it on my shoulder as well.
