Darnit.....I had a bad feeling about this series.....big for Milwaukee and they stole game 1

Now the Reds must face Yovani Gallardo...who? Well he's 9-4 with a sensational 2.45 era and 2 shutouts on the year..with 6 total starts of 6 or more innings and 0 runs allowed.

Better have a good game plan!

Edinson will pitch for the Reds.

Depends on Edinson's command. If he doesn't have it, could be a blowout. How about the Reds do not worry about scoring runs the first six innings, just try to get Gallardo to 100 pitches by then!

I hope the Reds lose the next 2 games then sweep the Braves, and my Phillies can sweep the Nationals that same weekend.

I hope the Phillies lose every game they play the rest of the year and you lose a game to the computer on NCAA football

I agree that the only way the Reds win this one is to get the pitch count up early on Gallardo. If we continue with the first pitch pop-ups, etc it will be a long game.

Need this one for sure. Be a good barometer of Volquez as well its not like the Brewers are slackers they just aren't having a good year. They have to be in the top 3 of dissapointing teams this year.

Reds will not score more than 1 run. Gonna need a perfect game from EV. You can do it!!!!!!

screw the Phillies

Orlando Cabrera....4 AB...11 pitches...you better have 2 hits if that's the case

Reds need to battle tonight...scrape a win and take tomorrow's game

Brewers sweep this series and they are right back in it.

the Brewers are playing pretty well and if they sweep the Reds they are right back in it......wildcard included.

Doesn't matter how anymore...just if you make it or not...the Brewers have what it takes to be one of those teams to go from 8 back right back into it

You can only worry about yourself.

there are 7 teams ahead of them in the wild card race. The 8 games isn't insurmountable but with that many teams between them and the top spot, its going to be difficult to make up ground.

I know how it works and it happens nearly every year......they don't always make it to the playoffs....but someone in baseball will come from seemingly nowhere to right in the thick of it for the long haul.

An 8 out of 10 would put them into the discussion. 15 out of 20 would make them the talk of the NL.....I know there are many teams ahead of them but I won't be the least bit surprised. Everyone have the Chi Sox winning 25 of 30?

Good to see Joe Morgan doing the tech talk tonight. Now they just need to get Barry back in the organization next year after they don't resign Dusty.

I don't think you can fault BP at all on that. I love seeing the aggressiveness.

BUT, it would be 1-0 if he stays at 2nd lol

And it would be 2-0 now..

But I'll take 3 hits in a row and 1-0.

Should be 2-0 ... But OC & Votto connect w/ a double and Single 1-0 Reds

he was out, not a smart play by BP, but the offense is pressing. Understandable.

who knows, that AB would have been completely different with a runner on most likely. good start though, seems like the reds bats only show up when they are facing an ace these days.
