I'd say if you're talking only about passing numbers, then yes, his influence in wins has been more limited -- but a QB's "numbers" also include running, and Pryor was devastating to most defenses at some point, when he made timely decisions to take off. So I dispute that he had direct impact on wins only a few times. You have to also consider the THREAT of him running as part of his game, and that helps the other runners perform better via deception.
Now, do I think he's anywhere near his potential as an all-around QB? Nope. And that's the scary part about this guy's talent. If he ever really gets it together and learns how to time his running out of the pocket better -- AND refines his passing game, he'll be devastating.
The whole WR discussion now is silly. Might he end up doing that at the next level? Sure. He could end up being more of a wildcat QB, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
Finally, have you noticed how Oregon was this legit top 10 team when they entered the Rose Bowl and somehow morphed into overrated by the time the game ended?
Shameless revision of history by some on here.
