Mr. Woods is still number 1, despite being down about $9 million from last year.
Top by sport:
Golf:
#1 Tiger Woods
Boxing:
#3 Floyd Mayweather
Basketball:
#4 LeBron James
Baseball:
#5 Alex Rodriguez
Football:
#9 Peyton Manning
Racing:
#16 Dale Earnhardt Jr.
No hockey, soccer, or other sport stars are represented. FWIW, among international professionals, Roger Federer ranks #1 (would be #2 in the U.S. rankings) and Lionel Messi is at #2 (just behind LeBron James).

Seeing Stafford at 11 on that list just made me laugh at how crazy that is.

There are quite a few NFL first to second year players in the top 50. The NFL really needs to do something about the rookie salaries.

Yea, the NFL salary structure is one of the biggest jokes in sports. But hey, they made it.

Wasn't the report about the $750 million false? I thought I heard that it was actually much lower than that.

A source to TMZ said that it was only $100 million....

Ok, thanks. Whatever ends up happening, Elin isn't gonna be hurting for cash.

The report is based on earnings not net worth. Tiger can pay out his $100 mill and still be #1 on this list.
