Thanks, guys. Just checking in for a minute from the recovery room--little Caleb "the C-Monster" was born last night at 9.17p after 20 hours of tough back labor (no epidural--Mrs. FFT is a champ--GOAT mom. Almost 5 hours of pushing to get this guy out). 8 lbs, 3 oz, mom and baby are both healthy and fine. Started labor between 1 and 2 am, into the hospital around 5a, haven't had much sleep since.
I was talking to most of you all when I was still in high school . . . and then through college . . . and getting married . . . and law school and now with Baby FFT. It's a little crazy to think about. Definitely on cloud 9 now, will probably check in at some point over the next week with some pix of the little guy. Thanks for the kind words.
Do those pictures work for you guys? Or are they red Xs? If the latter, they should show up on facebook.

Congratulations FFT. One of the most joyous experiences one has in life. Relish every moment you have with the young one. Time flies by so fast. I used to hear that all the time when my kids were young. I never grasped the reality of those words until they grew up. My oldest is nearly 18 and my boys are 15 and 12 (October he will be 13). I can't remember the last time I was able to pick them up and carry them in my arms. My eldest son has nearly 3" on me at almost 6' 2". My youngest is nearly as tall as me.
So many years I looked down into my sons eyes. Now I am nearly eye ball to eye ball with the youngest and look up to the eldest. Strange feeling. Best wishes to you and your wife and new addition. Take note from one who has experienced it. Time flies by. Take advantage of every moment you have with them.
