Traveling through Dayton Friday night and staying the night near the downtown area. Would like to take the wife to a nice restaurant (Downtown or outskirts) and wouldn't mind dropping $45-$80 for a good dining experience....

Thanks for any suggestions! Go Bucks

The Pine Club. It's a great steakhouse over by UD. I believe it is on Brown Street. I believe it has a website. I think it is the best restaurant in the city IMO.

We used to have friends of the family that swore by Jay's Seafood, can't personally vouch for it though.

Tai-9 at 5th and Wayne is probably the best Asian restaurant and plenty of places around the corner in the Oregon District to spend the rest of the evening. Pine Club on Brown Street at Irving is probably the classiest place in Dayton and you'd easily blow through your wallet. Lots of other hometown places that I'm sure others can recommend. If you're craving Italian, check out Mamma DiSalvo's at Stroop and Marshall with Elsa's Sports bar and Harrigan's Tavern across the street. The Greene has some nice places to dine as well.

Pine Club is definitely the best steak I ever had. Pretty pricey, but well worth it!

If you care to make the short drive to the Greene, they also have nice restaurants. They have a Turkish restaurant there called Pasha Grill. Very good food, I highly recommend it, especially if you are into kebabs.

I hope she divorces you. Don't stop in that hell hole. I would rather listen to Little Danny tell me how good of a basketball program UC is going to have this year than ever give anything in that 'city' money.

Is that the place that has the meat on the rotisserie in the window? If so..then yea, it's pretty good.

Cinci, we won't be good in basketball until we get rid of the red headed midget. If you'd like I can talk up the football team though. ;) Btw nice avatar. Did you like my old one from a few months back with Calvin whizzing on the X logo?

OU, don't listen to Cinci. The Pine Club is a great place to have a meal.

Don't talk shit about Dayton.

Dayton goes hard. You talk bad about Daytonians like that they'll pop a cap in yo ass.

Well they would if they could afford a gun and ammunition.
