So, I'm getting married next July and we are starting to look into Honeymoon ideas. Any recommendations? We have both been to the Caribbean on several occasions so we have certain expectations. We have also both been on cruises which is something that we are not necessarily in favor of, but willing to consider if anyone has recommendations on cruises that are more laid back than the typical Carnival cruise with kids running around everywhere.

We are looking at anywhere in the Caribbean and an all inclusive is a must.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

Only been to an all-inclusive once and that was the Breezes resort at Runaway Bay in Jamaica. It was pretty good for the price, but I'd probably go somewhere nicer if I were to choose that option for my honeymoon.

You can travel international much more inexpensively than is often thought. If your willing to grind through some very long flights travel time wise I can't recommend enough going to Bali.

We loved it and hope to return someday soon when both kids are in college.

If you've been to the Caribbean a bunch already why not try somewhere new?

you should look into Punta Mita in mexico. Its about 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallerta and was the best vacation I have even been on. We went with a couple who had just stayed in Cabo in an all inclusive place and they said punta mita made it look like a holiday inn express. We stayed at the four seasons but there are other places as well in the gated area. Theres also a good chance you might see a celebrity as Travolta, Britney Spears, Madonna, and vince vaighen all go there.

Congrats! Websurfinbird and I will be spending our honeymoon this October in Venice, Florence, Rome, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. While expensive, with the Euro down a bit, its not as bad as our European trip last year. If I may make a recommendation, go to Paris ... city rocks.
