... A chicago area woman was arrested for doing (3) teen age boys & providing them booze and weed. I guess this made her more popular than her daughter at school.

From what I can tell the whole episode sounds very sad. I think there is much more to this than we know. IT sounds like Mom just snapped and the result was a huge mistake on her part. The father probably has a large part to play here also. I feel very sorry for the daughter. Kids can be cruel and this situation is one where a lot of hurtful things can be directed at this 13 year old girl. I also feel sorry in some ways for the Mom, if what everyone seems to be saying about her is true. The boys are probably cult heroes for the moment but I feel sorry for them as well. This attention will get tiresome and somewhat embarrassing. I'm not sure about the husband but if he has been abusing his wife, that can cause some people to react in unconventional ways.
