The Panthers beat Steubenville Post 33 to head to the American Legion state tournament for the first time since 1996. Congrats to coach Baxter and the players from Tuscarawas county. Not surprising from a very successful group of players over the last 2-3 years.

What does Steubenville have up their sleeve next year to try and win? They might have to cross the river to get players.

I know Cozart, Wheeler, Mizer and Gray are playing on this team.

So now that there are only two teams down here! How soon will it be, that Steubenville will no longer have their advantage of getting to play every game (winner or loser bracket) on their home field? Maybe next year! Get ready to travel! Funny how things work out!

Good call Grey Cat. After seeing what happened to Richmond on Saturday, I dont ever want to see another game at Steubenville.

I guess putting 4 legion teams together did not work out like Steubenville had planned. They needed the 5th(Richmond). Back to the drawing board.

Richmond got homered by the Steubenville umpires. Plain and simple. How about Steubys 1st base coach throwing out F bombs towards the Richmond fans. How about Steubys players giving jestures towards Richmond fans after the game. Same old story, Steubenville wouldn't have done jack shit without raiding other teams players.

Harrison vs Strongsville @ 10:00 Mon, T.C. plays the winner @ 3:00 Mon. Then if T.C. wins they play Tue @ 4:00. If they lose Mon they play Tue @ 10:00, Win @ 10:00 tue and play again Tue @ 3:00. Again lose 2 and go home.

I was told Ian Drapcho from Dover went the first 7 innings and got the win on the mound. Winning the first 2 games would be huge in this 12 team tournament. Hopefully they will continue playing great baseball.

Tuscarawas County won today 14-8 and move on to play Thur @ 7:00 for the State Title. If they would get beat they play again Fri @ 10:00. Good luck bring it home to T-County.
