Pretty fucking sweet. Makes you wonder what could have been if not for the faulty hamstrings.

I'm only upset that the ad didn't have any of his amazing defensive plays.

In my opinion, and I'm not even a huge fan of his, he was the best all around player of all time in his prime.

If he didn't have injury issues in Cincy, he goes down as the HR king and the best defensive CF of all time...that's a crazy "combo".

Goodbye Baseball is a play on the home run calls. Defensive plays wouldn't really fit in. I do agree with the rest of your post.

Just another stolen paycheck that he doesn't deserve. I'm surprised he didn't hurt himself doing the commercial.

Or fall asleep.

Trust me, i caught the "play on words" I was just saying that the ad only showed one aspect of his amazing game.

Yeah well the ad (not add) wasn't trying to show his defensive skills...just homerun skills...not that difficult to understand

So was your whole goal to be a douche bag there? Because if you were, you suceeded.

Also, the post you quoted most certainly had "ad", so nice try on being the spelling police, it backfired royally.

He had the potential to be the greatest baseball player of the modern era if injury hadn't screwed it up for him.

*Cincinnati, 9 seasons: .270 BA, 210 HRs, 602 RBI, 17 SB
