I'd like to see Marte get some extended playing time so they can make a decision on this guy once and for all.

Why do the fucking Indians decide to hit the ball now??? They'll lay down and play dead against the Twins and White Sox......

Yeah if anything they've played dead against the Tigers all year.

Indians records vs the Central this year:

Vs Chicago 8-4
Vs Minny 2-4
Vs Detroit 2-6
Vs KC 1-2

Combined record of 13-16.

I'm not sure if the 2-6 vs Detroit included Friday's 8-2 win or not.

Detroit really came roaring out of the gate after the All-Star Game. It seemed they didn't even want to be there. Another bad loss at a time when good teams will start to roll. Scherzer was awful and it was just very disappointing. I realize that the season is a long way from over but this kind of thing happens too often. Detroit smacks Minnesota around...except for the fact that Carl Pavano pitches like Cy Young when the Tigers are the opponent, but the Tigers play a struggling Indians team and all of a sudden Cleveland has new life pumped into them. Leyland is absolutely right. The Tigers will win nothing if they don't start at least playing like they are partially interested on the road. Currently they are 16-26 on the road. I don't mean to be overly critical, but that just plain sucks.

^^ One game isn't the end of the world but yes they did not play well yesterday. Scherzer had a bad outing but I don't hold it against the guy since he has been lights out since his short stint in Toledo. I'm sure some things were said last night and will be said today to make sure everyone is ready to play and beat the teams they need to beat, like Cleveland.

Jhonny Peralta has missed these last two games with "Feverish conditions".
