I will be there as well.

Makes it even better knowing Volquez will pitch.

Hopefully Walt keeps Chapman in the majors until we absolutely need him...his control is too bad in AAA for the majors, imo.

Ironman please don't hate me now :D

Chapman should be up sooner rather than later. Control issues aside, he is still better than a couple of the guys in the pen

Sweet just added Volquez to my fantasy roster on Monday after hearing he'd probably be brought up soon.... Good news for the Reds too, It's been a long time since we've had this many good arms in the system. I'm guessing they sent down Travis Wood?

Wood or Maloney? I think they should keep Wood up.

I think it's Maloney. No brainer IMO

What happens to Bailey? Are the Reds still saying his shoulder is injured?

If there is any market at all for him, I hope the Reds can somehow trade Harang.

Arroyo
Volquez
Cueto
Wood
Leake
Bailey

Harang is no longer needed, IMO.

Wonder if they could get a bullpen arm out of him?

Saturday is a sell out I believe. With Sabo's bobblehead, it was already expected to be 35,000+, but I;d say it will be packed now with expected great weather, Volquez going and the Reds' position. Can't wait!

Nah there are plenty of tix for Saturday still available. I bet it sells out too though, probably around 6pm Sat.

No idea what he might be able to bring to the table....

Experience. Low risk, possibly high reward.

how often have the Reds EVER had this kind of pitching depth....

absolutley unheard of...the excitement of bringing out a bonafide #2 pitcher to debut on July 17th...if he can find himself back where he left off...the Reds will find themselves in good shape on Sept. 30.

Springer was a very good reliever in the national league for several years, last year he really struggled in the AL. The problem is he gives up a lot of homers and fly balls, so I don't expect much from him.
