Thats all they will do. She will be kept in isolation. She will shed a few tears like Paris Hilton, the sheriff will compassionately release for some medical problem. No need to waste his limited operating funds on some rich bitch out of her comfort zone. I doubt shes there very long before she is sent home on house arrest.

If they get ahold of her, her recidivism rate will be through the roof.

Am I safe in saying that the majority of posters have decided against possible rehabilitation? I first saw Lindsay in the film version of Garrison Keillor's Lake Woebegone Radio series and I really liked her. I didn't know anything about her other than she was acting in this film. I have to tell you that I really enjoyed her performance, and after finding out later about her numerous difficulties with addiction and other issues, I can only say that it's too bad. She appears to be a very talented young woman who has a lot to offer, if someone could find the key to unlocking what's going on in her head that keeps her from being able to get things together. I would probably have to sadly concur with those of you that think it's probably too late, but amazing things can sometimes happen if the right person comes along that cares enough to jump into the fray and see if there is an answer that hasn't been attempted as yet. We read about very talented young performers everyday that end up statistics to their addictions without being able to share their wonderful talent with us for a longer time. Hopefully Lindsay will not be one of them. I'd much rather see her star in a sequel to the first Prairie Home Companion Movie than in the police report or the obituary column.

Wow, damn. I thought I took stupid crackwhores a little too seriously sometimes. You put a lot of thought into that.
