Will there be a city with a worse outlook on professional sports than Cleveland?
I am a die hard Cleveland fan through and through and I cannot remember a time when our city has such bad teams in all 3 major sports. Is there another city out there that can even compare?

Simple answer, yes. Although I expect the Browns to be much improved and the Cavs to compete for a playoff spot.

Is spelling bee considered a sport? If not, then no.

I thought I was over it but I just can't seem to shake it.
Of the 3 major sports basketball is my least favorite but it is all just so depressing and reading all the Miami talk just makes it worse. I am sure I am not the only cavs fan with this empty feeling. I find myself trying to defend why he left as mad as I am at him.
It's just tough thats all. Life goes on.

Don't the Pirates suck hard enough to count as two teams?

This is why HS and college sports are my favorites.

As I said in another thread. This will be a long year for the mistake by the lake. Has to be the worst sports city in the nation. All 3 teams will be in the bottom 5 of their leagues.

^ Neither the Cavs (guaranteed) nor the Browns (debatable) will be in the bottom five, and I would wager that the Indians move up into at least 25th before the end of the year.

The Browns should be a fun team to watch this year and I expect them to flirt with 8-8..
The Cavs may look into a full blown rebuild from what Windy was saying today. He thinks they may use the TPE much like OKC did in terms of buying first round picks, stockpiling those picks, and parlaying them into more.

what really makes you think the Browns would go 8-8? That awesome QB they signed? The stud recievers?

The improved defense and a great foundation in place with the running game.
And yes, the receiving corp will be much improved.

Improved with a QB who will throw more picks than touchdowns?
Here are the top recievers:
Cribbs (not a true reciever)
Stuckey (so so)
Massaquoi (decent at best)
Robiskie (sucks)
Engram (old and not very good)

I guarantee Robiskie doesn't suck. All accounts are that he's looked pretty damn good in camp.
Funny to base a player off 1 year.
Cribbs may not be a true receiver, but he doesn't have to be. He's a playmaker.
Also, I think Carlton Mitchell is going to be a sleeper... I also expect MoMass to be much improved.
We do have some fairly good TE's as well.
