How are the Quakers looking this year? Will the return of a majority of players on both sides of the ball get them to the playoffs again and maybe even farther? Hows the depth chart looking? Assuming Penick at one receiver spot, how about the other?

welcome to the nbc, look forward to seeing salem in 2011. sounds like the nbc is fortunate to be able to wait a year...

definitely fortunate but who knows, maybe salem would have a tougher time in the bigger league. oh well, it is what it is. hope to see the quakers win their tier this year and go far in the playoffs

I would put them in the top 4 of the region. How far they go will depend on how the bracket sets up.

The kids and the staff have higher expectations, but will have to show up ready to play every week. The numbers are up by about a third, which is great and should help with depth. A fair amount of positions up for grabs right now, the competition will be good. First 7v7 tomorrow night at Reilly.

Saw their 7on7 against Alliance and Crestview. Looked impressive at times, a little sloppy at other times, as would be the case with any first scrimmage. Looked like they lost to alliance and beat Crestview. Receivers are looking good. Penick should be able to admirably fill Eisel's shoes and Kenreigh looks like he can add alot this year.

sarcasim alert-doubt anyone in the nbc has reservations about trading salem for northwaste. that being said, good luck this fall to the quakers...

Quakers win although it was closer than many thought might be the case. Perhaps the wake up call will be good in the long run. Look for a strong showing this week vs. United.

Go Quakers !!

Took a little bit to get the offense rolling but a win is a win...especially against a Bill Bohren coached team. Lets fill up the visitors side at United, Quaker fans!!
