After watching some Muppets videos online and rewatching one of my favorite movies from my childhood: "A Muppet Christmas Carol" I have to say that there are very few people who were able to entertain both adults and children as well as Jim Henson and his crew.

Whether its the Muppet Show or any of their movies, or Sesame Street, or Fraggle Rock.....Henson was a genius who was taken from us well before his time.

So here is where we discuss the Muppets! Any favorites?

Also for anyone who loves the Muppets as much as I do, you'll be pleased to hear that Jason Segal (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, How I Met Your Mother) has written and is currently producing a new Muppet movie (The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made) which will hit theaters next Christmas. The director is James Bobin who was one of the creators and the director of the tv show "Flight of the Concords". Judging by those two's involvement, plus the whole Muppet crew, I imagine the movie will be great.

I leave you with this video, which is sad as hell.....the Muppets singing at Jim Henson's memorial:
