Cooper would be a great choice...but I'm hearing that they are willing to give Beck ANYTHING he wants...and his show would be similar to how it is now

If I were them, I'd throw millions at Charlie Rose to leave PBS and New York area television.

He's actually been dead for the past 5 years.

Same thing happened to Bob Barker. When they finally couldn't hide the fact that he was actually dead...they made him "retire."

If there is any truth to that list, Anderson Cooper is the only acceptable choice of those. They shouldn't touch Olbermann, Maddow, or Beck with a 50 foot pole.

I could see them just shifting Cooper's current show into that spot and going with something completely different in his old one.

Charles Barkley would be must-see TV.

Or Conan should have waited a little longer for this gig.

Bingo.

With the advent of HDTV's...people were able to see the wires holding him up a lot easier. If it wasn't for that technological advancement...those two could have gone on forever.

I don't like Larry King and I'm glad he's retiring. I hope they don't replace him with anybody.

Larry may well be the only TV personality that owes his longevity to garlic.
