I am not a fan of Michigan or OSU, just college football in general. Watching yesterdays game brought up a few points. I think Forcier could be a very good qb in the system. It appears his problem now is reading defenses, he has a good grasp of the offense, but that is only half the puzzle. Robinson doesn't know the offense nor can he read defenses yet. I assume a lot of this has to do with the fact that Forcier enrolled early and went through spring practice and Robinson did not as far as a better understanding of the offense.
I know they have another qb coming in that is probably better that either. My question is, does anyone know if the new guy, Gardner is going to enroll early or not? If not, I could see Forcier takeing a majority of the meaningful snaps next year, seems like too difficult of a system to learn just starting in August.
Also, when I guy enrolls early, who pays for it? If they can't sign technically until Feb can they take scholarship money? Or, once they enroll, are they elgible?
Like to see Michigan get back to being a major force, kind of sad when you look at the top of the Big Ten and there really isn't a team(s) that you could see competing with the top nationally. Need to get 3 strong teams at the top that can take care of out of conference opponents so when they beat each other it looks more impressive.

Denard Robinson most likely will be moved to WR and will have some packages where he comes in at qb. From what I have heard Gardner is still 100% michigan (been to every home game and wants to play there) and he plans to enroll early. Im not sure how exactly works with early enrollment but I would imagine its still scholarship money or most of these kids would not do it.

I think they have to have a scholarship open from the previous year for someone to be invited to enroll early....I may be talking out of my arse....of course I have been told that my arse is smart. I think that is what they meant.....

If they could teach Robinson to read defenses and improve his passing, he'd be the better QB IMO. He was moving Michigan very well for a while and also has the wheels to play more like Pat White. Forcier has decent speed but he really isnt all that explosive as a runner.

I would think a whole offseason and Robisnon will be much better off. I think the difference between the two this year was the length of time they had to prepare for the season.
Wonder if Forcier will stay, obviously some rumors floating around about him.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Tate transferred, if Gardner pans out. It won't be next year. But possibly after that.

Gardner wants to play his senior year of basketball, so I doubt he enrolls early.
I've heard talk that the only reason DR is still playing QB is because they weren't comfortable with Nick Sheridan in there. Long term, Gardner will be the guy to take Michigan back to the BCS IMO. The kid is a stud.. 6'4, 225 lbs. I think Michigan will use him and Forcier much like Florida used Leak and Tebow during TT's freshmen year... this will also allow Robinson to get on the field at other positions, which is very exciting.

The Forcier's have a history of transfering, If Tate thinks he is getting the raw end of the deal he will bolt IMO. I don't think UM would be worse off with DR and Gradner at QB however. I think if Gardner comes in and plays well next year Tate is gone.

Gardner better be a reincarnation of Joe Montana, Brett Favre and Peyton Manning to get scUM back to the BCS IMO. An embarrassingly bad team at the present time. Its been said Tate "Lucky Charms" Forcier's old man paid Todd Marinovich's (remember this total bust?) old man to start grooming him for the NFL when he was 14! What a delusional idiot. Can't be happier than how right now the skunkweasels are the laughing stock of college football...and that is really saying something considering how dismal the Irish are too.

Hopefully Forcier is around next year, because if Gardner does indeed not enroll early, things would be pretty rough again at qb.
I would like to Mich and ND get back to national respect. College football is better that way, certainly the quality of the Big Ten.
