How many of you guys like the band Phoenix? I never really heard of them until this year and am digging their new cd, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. They actually won the grammy this year for best alternative album. Anyone else fans?
I like their song 1901 bud don't really care to much for their new once can't remember the name

They're a pretty huge Indie band, but not even in the same neighborhood as Frightened Rabbit.

i know the difference between singing and all that...frightened rabbit seemed like any other emo indie band who lost a girlfriend or their dad hated them

haha they're definitely not emo. And not that I particularly care, as there are so many other great Indie bands, but you said so yourself you listened to one song, so it's not like you listened to nearly enough to get a solid opinion with.
What about The National, Spoon, Arcade Fire, The Airborne Toxic Event, Glasvegas, The Postal Service, Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket, Monsters of Folk...etc, etc.
