And if so, what is the winning team referred as?

Do they win something like a Stanley Cup or a V. Lombardi trophy?

Just wondering...

For some reason I'm thinking General's Cup but I could be WAY off on that.

I don't know but I do know it is a One game series...Between the International League Champs and Pacific Coast League Champ

The International League winner receives the Governor's Cup.

Close. The International League has a championship series called the Governor's Cup.

Also, the Pacific Coast League, the other AAA league has a playoff but there is no name for it other than the PCL championship. The two winners do not meet in an overall championship to my knowledge.

Yeah, but its pretty watered down as often the best players are in the bigs for the September call-ups.

the two winners of the PCL Championship and the Governor's Cup meet in a one game playoff to decide a AAA championship game, which in recent years has been held at Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City
