I picked up a Sega Dreamcast and NLF 2k today for a dollar at a yard sale. I was suprised by how good 2k held up compared to the Madden/Gamedays of that year. Are there any games worth getting on the Dreamcast?

Damn, a dollar? That's a steal. That game was sweet. If I remember correctly, NFL Blitz is pretty sweet on Dreamcast as well.

I used to have a dreamcast. I remember renting games and burning them and they would play on the dreamcast. Can't remember how but they were straight cd burns. That's the only reason I bought a dreamcast.

I got a dreamcast and NFL2K1 for $50 shortly after they stopped making them. Still worth it as I consider it one of the better football games for any system. Loved the ability to pick plays on the controller so your opponent couldn't see your selections. You really had to be good on defense then.

That's sweet. Dreamcast was a pioneer of online play for consoles. As well as virtual memory.

It was arguably a better console than the Playstation 2 but Sony killed it with a shady marketing campaign as well as spreading rumors of supposed widespread malfunctions. It was sad when I thought there was only going to be two major players in the market, Sony and Nintendo.

NFL 2K5 remains the best NFL game I've EVER played.

I was so pissed when EA bought out the rights to the NFL..

Dead or Alive 2, Soul Calibur, Rez

P.S. if you look in the right places, you can simply download and burn DC games to regular CD-R's without chipping your console

Crazy Taxi was probably the Dreamcast's best game.
