I love bbq, it's my hobby. This is a thread where you can share recipes, pictures, secrets, and anything that has to do with bbq.
I smoke something every weekend and usually try different recipes. This week it's pulled pork using Chris Lilly's recipe.

I use a weber smokey mountain 22 1/2. When I can afford it I would like to have a stumps cooker they are $3000 to $5000 depending on what size you get, but for the money the WSM is a great cooker.j_crazy;419100 wrote:Keep us updated. stumps is a gravity fed masterpiece, I go to alot of bbq competitions (to spectate) and a good portion of the competitors use the stumps cookers

This dude is a rep for weber smokey mountain cookers, he's a freakin' dork but he does alot of trial and error to the WSM and does have some good ideas.

This is a sauce that I found in a competition bbq cookbook, good stuff and will be used with tonights pp.
Pulled Pork Sauce
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
3 TBS ketchup
2 TBS white sugar
1 TBS molasses
1 1/2 Tsp pectin (Sure-Jell)
2 TBS yellow mustard
1 Tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 Tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 Tsp paprika
Finally!

Love it when it falls apart like this!

Pulled and ready to eat.

Chris Lilly's recipe ended up nothing short of awesome, this is one of the best recipes I've found for PP and I have tried alot of them. The sauce was a great compliment to this recipe. This recipe is definately worth it.

You can smoke fine meat in a large cardboard box or an old fridge, all that matters is what product is deliveredj_crazy;419985 wrote:Lol I use a kenmore propane grill or like last week I used a ole smokey charcoal pit.
