He had a good game against Notre Dame in the 2nd week. Over time I think those people finally realized that ND defense was so bad this year it may every QB look like a god.

I am not impressed. Yes, when he scrambles out of the pocket he makes things happen...............mostly negative things. It will take a lot of offseason work to polish up his skills. Good luck with that.

Lol hes got a big mouth? All he did was exhibit confidence in his team, didnt put down OSU in the process. I see nothing wrong with what he said, well except that he didnt come through on it lol.

I don't think he is out of his league. What he is is a true freshmen. He needs to settle down and not try to be a world beater every play.

I think the early success UM had this season fueled the Tate for president campaign. As the season went on, reality for the whole team set in.

This is exactly what happened. Forcier will be a fine QB as he matures. He did what ALL true frosh do, made some dumb mistakes, but also made some brilliant plays this season.

it is actually not easy to make a comparison between the two, one actually throws the ball the other simply turns and hands it off. Yes, I know six straight blah blah, but this is not about teams it is about the QBs

Its not like Pryor has been lighting up the competition 16tds 10ints and 1828 yards isnt anything special. He didnt have that much better of a year than Forcier, and of course i have to remind everyone that he is a TRUE FRESHMAN which is ALL anyone heard from OSU fans about Pryor. Give him time.

I made this point on a couple other sites a few years ago regarding Leake/Smith, and I will with Forcier/Pryor; what would the numbers look like if both QBs switched teams? Considering what Pryor has at his disposal, his numbers really should be better.

Athletic upside- Pryor
Upside as a Quarterback- Tate

Two year's from now Tate will be a vastly improved qb and Pryor will still be a superb athlete with a coach that doesnt know how to use him or develop him as a passer.

Yeah because that coach of yours is truly developing the UM team eh, back to back 7+ loss seasons.

Face it, Forcier had a great start against shitty teams with no defenses. He finally was placed in games where the defenses were good (Iowa, PSU, OSU etc) and he failed miserably. Meanwhile, Pryor, who many thought would choke in the toughest part of OSU's schedule, proved everyone wrong with his decision making abilities. He cut down turnovers to only 1 which was yesterday. He made big plays with his legs and arms while the OSU offense finally put up TD's instead of FG's.

Pryor was clearly the better athlete as well as the better quarterback on Saturday. While his passing statistics continue to be very average, he actually ran the spread very effectively and Michigan's defense seemed to be guessing all day and often, they were guessing wrong. Forcier was, pardon the pun, forciering stuff all day long and a good defense will step up and make plays against a guy like that, and that's what Ohio State did. I thought Pryor outplayed him by a wide margin...and who won the game?

If Rrod had so much confidence in Tate then why is he bringing in another big QB recruit with Gardner which means hes going to have to find time for 3 different QBs or one or two of them will be leaving.

Robinson is being moved to wr/speed back next year, he will probably have a couple of packages where they bring him in at qb and run with an occasional short pass, but for the most part he will be a wr. If Gardner is all he is hyped up to be then we have seen the last of forcier in michigan. If not then he will develope into a good qb for michigan, he is a true fresh with a bunch of fresh and soph's around him.

So, when OSU/Pryor have a bad game in the Rose Bowl, the only reason Pryor "improved" is because he played against the "shitty" Big Ten.

The way Pryor is playing and the defenses I have watched from the Pac10, I doubt he has a bad game. Secondly, at least Pryor is having a chance to play in the Rose Bowl. He didn't run his mouth about getting his team anywhere or to any bowl game, after the Purdue loss he simply took blame and promised to improve which he has.

The way it looks now, Forcier will not even be starting imo.

No bowl game, 5 turnovers, and DG coming in.

Devil, again, I made this point earlier today; just because a Conference with better Offenses/athletes can score pretty much at will(and these teams are familiar with each other as well) doesn't mean OSU can light up the scoreboard against them. I remember the same argument being made about the SEC/LSU 2 years ago.

I think Forcier will turn out to be a fine QB. He is a frosh, many UM fans got WAY too excited (like OSU fans with Pryor) when he started out well vs some not very good defenses. What I like about him is his competativeness.....but I think that also hurt him at times trying to do too much. He will learn and if RR sticks with him, I think he will be very good. Although he does need to hit the weight room...he was being thrown around like a rag doll at times.

Good luck. I've been trying to explain to him that the Big 10 sucks for the past 24 hours

Uhh, I know the B10 sucks that wasn't the argument. The way OSU is running the football now I have no doubt they would be able to run and control the clock against any Pac10 team.
