I just said to my girlfriend this week that since my dog died, I worry about snakes coming into my yard. Tonite I'm cutting the grass and a 2 foot green snake wrapped around my left leg. Before I could turn the mower around he slithered through the fence into the woods.

Lucky it wasn't a trouser snake wrapped around your leg!! Also with no dog who is going to keep trouser snakes from coming into the house when you are at work?

I thought it was a vine tangled, but it was a snake wrapped around my leg. About 2 feet long, dark green. I had a red mark on my calf but I don't think it was from the snake. I have lots of thorny vines in the back yard. It was getting dark anyway so I quit and hit the shower. The mark went away so I feel lucky.

Snakes suck. I hate weed wacking around my pond when it is full in the summer, I see a cottonmouth about once a year.

I was mowing a friends pasture's today and had the pleasure of taking out two snakes.

Fuck man. That's my worst nightmare. A snake touching me let alone wrapped around my leg, lol. I would scream like a little girl....

I don't do snakes either. Not scared of them, just hate the little (or big) fuckers. Had an incident with a cottonmouth when I was younger and since that point I do not do snakes...

Don't you live in FL, sand? That was prolly a green mambo which have become a huge problem in SW FL. Very painful bite and poisoness. Too bad it didn't nail you...one less Gator fan on this earth to worry about.
