Come to Miami, we definitely need the lineman. Now we'll see if Randy Shannon will offer up a scholly.

Nothing like playing in front of a half full stadium for your home games. Go Canes!

haha with a school of about 15,000 students compared to florida has about 50,000 come on. Gators fans are pathetic. Miami has never really sold out games and never will. Miami doesn't brag about selling out games. Just putting players in the NFL.

I'm just stating the facts. A lot of schools put players in the NFL, and a lot of schools can fill their stadiums.

It's not a knock on the University though.
They have an NBA team. They have an MLB team. They have an NFL team. They have so many things to do in the city. They have a very small student population and don't have a big alumni base. Basically, they are a private school in a pro sports/touristy city that built a reputation as a football powerhouse, largely due to this media market the names who have passed through there.
I'm not defending their fan base, because it certainly isn't that good, but comparing UF (a public University with a huge alumni base and far less surrounding the city) is unfair.

I'm not comparing it to UF. It's a fact they don't draw well for football games, unless it's a big time game. You can make up all the excuses or reasons why, it still doesn't change the fact that it is a poor college atmosphere on game day. Apparently, it isn't a big deal to Seantrell Henderson. What Miami lacks with attendance, they make up for with location. They are fortunate to be surrounded by big time high school football talent.Azubuike24;413429 wrote:It's not a knock on the University though.

Anyone think Notre Dame could get into the picture? I could see Brian Kelly trying to get him. I would love to see him at tOSU but I think we are behind Miami and possibily Minnesota.

No clue if Notre Dame is a possibility or not. It would be a nice addition to the o-line after the loss of Matt James.

I was thinking the same thing. I know at one time he had ND near the top of his list, but who knows what the kid is thinking at this point.

Sorry but I got my info from the same guy that told Athlete37 - Bob Stoops was coming to ND - so i'm pretty damn sure it is legit Henderson will be wearing the Scarlet & Gray next season.

If he was smart he would come to OSU, but Miami does have the allure of a building, budding program...so I could see why he would want that.
