Say what? Brantley and LaPorta went 0-8? Next thing you're gonna tell me is that it's a tossup on who is MORE overrated, Lebron James or Notre Dame football.

In related news, Dustin Richardson of the Red Sox threw 2/3 of an inning in today's 6-1 loss to the Orioles. Richardson threw 5 of his 7 pitches for strikes and recorded 1 strikeout.

Too many to mention, as it wouldn't prove a point.

Yes, attendance numbers are only worth mentioning when they illustrate the "minor-league" factor of your post. Jebus, if Wes mentioned 35+K attended this game, it would have ruined the entire moment for him, as a lot of people would have paid money to see this 0-9 debacle.

You guys are minor leaguers.
Speaking of minor leaguers, Josh Rodriguez went 2 for 5 with a double and a rbi yesterday and is now batting .405. This is the most overlooked guy in AAA.

Pulling strings is so easy down here in the rookie league.

Kind of like pulling on that string clothesline to get your clothes back in the trailer.

I'm not really sure that you can say you're successfully "pulling strings" when the end result tends to be people just opening mocking and insulting you. At least I would hope no one would consider it a "victory".

I didn't create this thread to mock...it is paying homage to a major leaguer
