So who gets the boot? Crowe would be dumb to not play him for the same reasons it would be dumb to not play Brantley. Choo is a no brainer to play. Kearns appears to be headed to to bench since Hafner wont be benched with his contrct.

Choo is on the 15 day DL with a thumb injury he got diving for a catch on friday.

I would think the outfield would be

Brantley LF
Crowe CF
Kearns RF

Good news for Tribe fans. Hopefully he can get his crap together and take Crowe's ABs away. Crowe is going on 27 yrs old and he still hasn't prove he's worth much in the big leagues. If you want to play Crowe, fine, just don't continue to make him the leadoff hitter. He has always had below avg OBP and batting average numbers and he has never displayed any power at all. So what exactly does he bring to the table?

While Choo is gone Crowe kind of has to play but when Choo returns, and long as Kearns is still on the team.. it should be Kearns, Brantley, and Choo out there. We know what Crowe is, let's see what Brantley is.

Not that I totally disagree, but unless they plan on Kearns being in their future (signing him long term) they dont need to be playing him over Crowe.
