after 2 quick outs...three straight singles by Jhonny , laPorta and Nix...fails to score a run a s the Tribe plays base to base:(

Redmond lines to right and gets thrown out at first.....wow....like little league where the big fat slow kid gets thrown out from right field.

no runs

Yea, that shit is embarrassing. Complete rally killer for the Indians. Twice up with two or more guys on base and both times he does nothing... I know he is slow, but he was probably jogging down the line figuring he had the sure single.

*Saw the replay, he is just slow, terribly slow*

Victor Martinez would beat his ass in a 40 yard dash, and that's saying something

Lou Marson would have been safe... granted, he probably wouldn't have hit it though.

What exactly happened to Redman? I leave the game for 6 minutes and miss 3 singles and this Redman fiasco!

in all seriousness, what's he doing on the team? I'd DFA Redmond and bring back Marson. What are you going to lose? 15 points in BA, but at least marson can run and throw runners out.

Wyatt Toregas is stuck way down in Mahoning Valley he could do as good as Marson or that back up turd in Cleveland.

Got thrown out at first by 1-2 steps by the right fielder.

In Indy the Clippers have a 4-3 lead heading to the bottom of the 8th.

Constanza swipes two more bases to give him 21 on the season. He also has a hit raising his average up to .312.

Rodriguez has a hit and swipes a base giving him five on the season. His average now stands at .350

Brown has two hits and two more RBI giving him 37. He now has a .296 batting average.

Somewhere in the minors there has to be a better backup catcher then Mike Redmond. I was at the game and witnessed that in person. When I seen the outfielder throw it, I seriously thought he was throwing to home and when it went to first and got Redmond by a good two steps, I really couldnt believe that I had just seen that happen.

When I had left shortly after that happened I got to hear the post game interview with Acta and I know he has to stick up for his players but when he said "well the outfielder was playing really shallow". Its not like Redmond sent a bullet to that outfielder. Acta shouldve just said that Redmond is old and very slow and I could beat him down the line.

Rick Manning was saying that he was playing shallow on STO as well, but I'm not buying it.

As you mentioned, he didn't exactly hit a laser to RF. It was a run of the mill hit, and it wasn't like it was fielded right behind the cut of the infield. Redmond is slow, and sucks at baseball.
