There has been much discussion on the importance of this 11 game roadie for the Redlegs. They opened the trip with a win against the Cubs.
The remaining games before the All Star Break:
July 2-4 against the Cubs
July 5-7 against the Mets
July 8-11 against the Phillies
How well will they do?

I wanted to take the 8-3 option over the 7-4 option because of the twice as good odds, even though with money being the same I would have chosen 7-4. I wanted to take that plus the rain-out option because of the tremendous odds on the rain-out, choosing two options. I was disappointed to learn I could only choose just one option. So I had to settle for just the rain-out choice.

Would the rain-out choice also cover a game that is postponed due to power grid failure, or any other reason that makes this road trip less than 11 games?

Yes. It covers anything that would cause the roadie to be less than 11 games.

10 games down, 1 to go.
Reds need to avoid a sweep Sunday to finish at 6-5.
