Need some help from the chatter internets gurus...
Currently, when we shoot a high school football game, we record the plays on mini-DV (with a wireless audio of play-by-play) and also send a live signal to the coaches laptop. It looks like this:

I want to try to do a live broadcast of the games on my website. I'm thinking the set-up needs to look something like this:

Will this work?
What or who provides a place (preferably doesn't cost much) where I can send the signal that I can then link to on my website?
Thanks for any suggestions/ideas.

Have you looked into ustream? Live video is one thing that I've never had to work with in any of the websites I've built so I am not 100% sure. Ustream seems like it might be worth checking out.

Haven't really looked much at anything yet. Did a quick google search, but that came back with a bunch of stuff that is a couple years old.

If you use ustream or justin.tv, can you have the video stream on a personal site, or will people have to be directed to view it on the ustream or justin.tv site?

If you have facebook, lookup Dean Mills. He does all of the live online broadcast for USAC racing, he could probably be of some help.

You can embed ustream on your own site.
