Neither could I.
Even if the economy does a 180 degree turn today and
real unemployment (by some estimates as high as 22%) drops to 10%, Obama is still in deep trouble.
Hell, our company just announced they're closing our plant in Topeka, Kansas. With our plant closing in Pennsylvania that occurred this time last year, over 700 people have lost good paying jobs. I'm not saying the plant closings are Obama's fault. I'm simply saying the economy is hardly in "recovery" although the MSM is desperately trying to get us to believe that.
People vote with their wallets. I know very few people who can honestly claim that they feel warm & fuzzy about their current economic status.
As you pointed out, the states that went to McCain will go to Romney and enough bubble states that leaned Obama the last time could quite easily (likely?) go with Romney this time.
No way Obama wins in a landslide...which is why he's appealing to his base (gay vote, etc.) and lecturing the Europeans about
their fiscal policies.
