Jayson Nix 2-3 as well with a beauty of a suicide squeeze at the plate to score Pronk.

J.W. threw well tonight hopefully this hope with him be traded.

He has to be able to bring in at least two mid level prospects but then again with Crapiro being part of this he might bring on a couple of low level A prospects.

In his 21 game for the Clippers Jared Goedert just blasted his 9th homerun of the season knocking in two to give him 19 rbi and put the Clippers up,3-2 in the bottom of the 8th.
Clippers are still hitting.

^^^^This guy will get a call up to the Bigs real soon. Especially when Peralta is traded before the deadline.

You have to have a taker if JP is to be traded.

Yeah, guys like Peralta and Hafner are hard to trade.

Peralta shouldnt be as big a problem. He is a guy who can in theory play 2 positions (we know better though) and always end up with decent looking numbers (again, we all know better:D).

Isn't J.P. the #2 RBI guy on this sad team?
He seems to be producing better than most of his teammates.

Yeah, Hafner is a much bigger problem because of his contract. MoonPie could be dealt, but I would have to think that these other GMs are wise to his tomfoolery and shenanigans as a bad infielder.

Wood is a free agent so there isn't any reason a contender wouldn't take him on for 2 months if he keeps throwing well. The Tribe won't get much, but he's trade fodder. Hafner, no way, and Peralta, up in the air.

Peralta is a slightly above average veteran major leaguer. He consistently hits .265 and drives in 80 runs a year. He consistently ranks in the upper half of defensive stats for his position...whether it is SS or 3B. While he may not cover as much ground as others, what he does cover is solidly fielded. In other words...while others get to more balls and make some spectacular plays...they also boot more balls that are easy plays. I suspect that JP is underappreciated here because he followed one of the best SS's of all time ...Omar Vizquel. While he is a good player, he's not the kind of player that teams want to pick up for a playoff run. That could change if someone has their everyday 3B go down with an injury. While it doesn't seem like it, Peralta is batting .299 with RISP.
