Maybe the MVP at this point.

Although maybe Cabrera and Morneau are right there in that discussion.

They actually sat him against the Pirates one game last week, which was kind of odd. Pretty sad if they were showing some kind of mercy.

He'd have probably 63 RBI if he had played that game.

that lineup is tough

remember Vlad was injured last year with the Angels and only batted .295 with 15 HRs and 50 RBI

he already has 15 HRs and 60 RBI and is batting .326

Nelson Cruz has a lot of power, too, already 10 HRs in 37 games, he could probably hit about 40 in a full season

Hamilton
Miggy
Cano

That would be my top 3 for the MVP. I think its really close race though, so far.

You wonder how far they can go with what they have, talking about Texas.

Or do they need to make that move for a starting pitcher, Oswalt.

Oswalt would be going for it!

Nolan Ryan probably feels bad for Oswalt as he did what Oswalt is doing back in 1987 by going 8-16 but led the league in strikeouts with 270 and had an era in the 2.7 range......then later moved on to the Texas Rangers........though not that year
