Again, the Reds and Indians failed to broadcast around the FOX National Broadcast. The teams can choose when to play games, and in today's case, they could've chose anything outside 7-10PM to show the game and televise it locally. Instead, they kept it at 7PM and therefore, it can't be broadcast.

Of course, EVERY OTHER MLB game not on FOX National chose to broadcast outside of the 7-10PM window, and will be televised locally. It's a shame, but most likely, FSN and STO wanted to give their broadcasters a day off so it's radio only tonight.

How long has it been known that the Fox national games today were at 7p?

Also, maybe the Reds wanted to enhance the attendance by it not being on TV!

Is Santana's finger ok? I'm assuming so since he hit the HR with the contusion. In the lineup tonite or will he be out for precautionary reasons?

The FOX national schedule was announced before the season. Long before. I believe teams had the choice of A) broadcasting outside of the FOX exclusive rights window or B) leaving the game in the window and hoping FOX picked it up. The Reds and Indians chose B most likely, and obviously had little chance it would be picked up. Therefore, no TV. It kinda stinks.

Reds had a chance for a lot more last inning against Masterson.

Branyan robbed Phillips of an RBI double, and Votto had the bases loaded with 1 down. Rolen ripped on to LF with men on 2nd and 3rd and it was caught.

Hopefully Owings can keep it up.

Reds get two more RBIs tonight that score without the benefit of being knocked in on a base hit. They score 6 runs on their 8 hits and 5 walks, while the Indians score just 4 on their 9 hits and 7 walks. Reds bullpen goes 5.2 innings and strands their two inherited runners in the 4th and shut the Indians down while the Reds go from a 2 run deficit to a 3 run lead.

The plan is working big time for the mistake on the lake.

Please again tell me how this team won't be that bad.

Yeah I know YOU ALL said they were going to stink.

I am sure you all want to believe that.

I am pretty sure everyone thought they would be bad. Just look at the game attendance.

I dunno how a bunch of people predicting 70 some odd wins AT BEST was thinking how this team would be good?

STFU.
