That is a pretty damn good balanced rushing attack. Pryor had more but his sack and late game rush took away 15+ yards.

This isn't your typical straight ahead rushing attack either, yes I know some of it is but the shotgun run was very effective today. Pryor was able to get loose a couple times and Saine once again broke another big run.

This team has rushed for over 200+ the past 5 games and its only going to get better before January 1st. It may not be the prettiest offense 100% of the time but if our offensive line continues to block this is a great offensive scheme.

Give credit where credit is due, the OLine. They were highly ripped early in the season, and rightfully so. But boy did they come on strong as the year progressed. Again, this was a young offensive unit that just got better as the season went on. I and others said this was a 2/3 loss team that would compete for the Big Ten. Well....looks as if that was right on the money. Hopefully this is a stepping stone for a run at a national title next season.

Swore on that last TD drive, with all runs, that Woody was coaching, not Tressel. Very impressed with the play of the line in the 2nd half. Great running by the backs and use of Pryor as an RB. I simply trust this team to run more than pass.

I seen the big offensive lineman run Pryor--no shake and bake there

Past 5 games (4 for Herron):

Herron: 72 carries 317 yards 2 TD's
Saine: 61 carries 313 yards 4 TD's
Pryor: 56 carries 340 yards 3 TD's

The key is OSU is running effectively and scoring TD's not just FG's. They are scoring once getting into the redzone.

The scary thing is everyone returns outside of Ballard and Small.

Offensive line have been doing the job as well as the running backs.

It would be Great if PRYOR could throw the "DEEP BALL", left 2 TD passes on the feild today overthrowing wIDE OPEN RECEIVERS!! dam thats frustrating!

Other than that SAINE ran hard and the O-LINE blocked hard. Just don't try to block Grahm with a tightend, and make him look better than he is either.

I agree that Pryor missed two times with Posey, but the reason OSU is able to have shots like that is because of the constant effective run game.

Pryor has hit Posey with that same play numerous times this season but today was an off day. But Tressel is trying to hit the homerun which is good.

Scarey "if" Pryor improves on this throwing/reading defenses. Although he didn't throw up great stats the past few weeks..I certainly saw improvement in his decisions making, patience and reading defenses. Tress obviously cut back quite a bit on throwing down field, but Pryor wasn't forcing things as he was early in the season.

Why? OSU has the type of athletic defensive line to slow Oregon's option run just like they did with UM today. No team can try to run outside to the sideline against OSU. The defense leads the nation in takeaways and I'd go a long way to say this is one of the most athletic defenses OSU has had in a long time as a whole.

Pryor has made great strides the past month and a half. He still has a lot of room for improvement but his decision making has significantly improved.

Well Oregon still has to make it there first.

OSU defense is good, don't get me wrong. But don't base game outcomes off of stats accumulated in a conference or conference play. The PAC-10 has some very good offensive minds coaching.

Not only win the B10 but if they run the ball like they have been the past 1 1/2 months I think they will win the Rose Bowl.
