Well? What is it and where is it? I'm a glutton for it.

Back in Toledo, I was a regular at this tiny authentic Mexican grocery/eatery just off the high level bridge called San Marcos. If any of you are ever in Toledo, I highly recommend you check it out. I've brought 10-15 people there and all but two have said it was one of the most delicious things they've ever eaten in their lives (those two naysayers didn't like non-Chipotle Mexican). So check it out Toledoans and those of you passing by. Here's where it is: http://www.yelp.com/biz/san-marcos-toledo . Be prepared to speak to people whose English isn't very good, and the whole damn place smells like Mexico. It's a cultural experience in its own right I guarantee it. But trust me, walk to the back of the grocery and find the grill and grab a seat; the steak quesadillas ($3.50) and a few steak tacos ($1.50/ea) will be some of the best things you will ever eat in your life.

Anywho, so now that I'm at The Ohio State University and I can't go to San Marcos after work at Libbey......is there anything comparable in this city? I'm looking for that whole-in-the-wall authentic place where you're not sure what it is but you don't care because it's so good. But, give me some solid "Mexican" restaurants too. Lord knows there's a difference between American-Mexican and Mexican, but who says I can't appreciate both? haha

and yes, I did just come back into my apartment really drunk and hungry, but I refuse to succumb to PJ's fat bitch. :D

Most likely the best Mexican food in C-bus would come from one of the trucks lining Georgesville Road. But as the saying goes, you pays your money, you takes your chances.

I lost 49 pounds my freshmen year eating a steady diet of Keystone, Natty, and Taco Bell. Ahhhhh the memories! Get hammered and walk to Taco Bell and throw up. It's one way to go form 255 to 207 hahah

El Vaquero is pretty good, but it's a sit down place, and it sounds like you're looking for a faster place.

Chipotle?

El Vaquero is okay.

I really like Las Margharitas that is up by Tuttle.

I don't know the name of it, but I think there is a good Mexican place on High St. just north of Lane. I think it's on the west side of the street and they have a good happy hour.
