That would severely clutter up the pro forum. You'd have the game thread plus the vbookie thread. It would work if everyone had the ability to post a vbookie event that isn't happening.

yeah but why not use the vbookie version of the thread as the game thread? if the game thread is made before a vbookie thread is made for that event, could a vbookie mod edit the thread to turn it into a betting thread. kinda like adding a poll to a thread. or doesnt the software work that way?

The software doesn't allow for a vBookie event to be added to a thread after the fact.

Also, the vBookies aren't mods. The only extra access they have is to create threads in this forum.
