That's because those kids are stupid. And also because no one really gives a shit about underage until you do something else stupid. And unless you're the biggest tool you're never going to see jail for an underage. Also, if the picture isn't enough evidence to prove that their parents didn't give them the alcohol then nothing could be charged against them anyway.sjmvsfscs08;399991 wrote:If they're dumb enough to let their baby do they, they're dumb enough to put it on Facebook.
I have always found it odd that getting written up for an underage consumption is an M-1 and up to six months in jail and $1000 fine....and yet literally everyone one of my friends has a picture of them doing that on Facebook.
Well if their parent is with them they can actually drink it, isn't that Ohio law? And I'm not necessarily saying it's a bad thing, as I personally think the drinking age should be lowered to 18 or 19. But, I just think it's silly people will carelessly post pictures of themselves doing illegal activity on Facebook.I Wear Pants;400042 wrote:That's because those kids are stupid. krambman;400215 wrote:The stupidity of high school kids posting pics of them drinking underage is less about legal repercussions and more about being affected in other ways. I know tons of people who got suspended or kicked off sports teams for pics they put on Facebook or because of things they wrote on there about teachers and other students. You also hear all the time about people losing their jobs or not getting hired because of what they have on their profile. It just lacks common sense a lot of the time. People post stuff that they wouldn't otherwise make public or admit to certain people because for some reason they seem to think that Facebook is super private or that it doesn't count.
