We try to take pride in on how we play the game and have fun with it. If you have played in this dynasty before Welcome Back and if you are joining us for the 1st time Welcome. If you have any questions please feel free to text me or Imex and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

So I'm down 7 with 3 minutes left at the game and I'm at the 50 yard line and its 4th and 5 and I have to punt and let someone chew the clock and win the game? Terrible. These 4th down rules are ridiculous. If you are down 10 in the 4th quarter you can't go for it on 4th down, but if you are down 14 you can? They are both two scores. These 4th down rules are not good.

Whatever happened to no going for it on your own side of the field unless its 4th and 1 or less or you are losing in the 4th quarter. Super simple. It doesn't have to be a Constitutional Amendment.

I would have to agree to the part that if you are down in the 4th you should be able to always go for it on 4th down if you wanna. Everything else is fine.

I agree. You will get burned going for it on 4th eventually, if you do. Any fourth down rule is unnessesarry

i agree but i think he's going for the str8, fun games... Most of punt it when we should but we just want to make it more life like. not even lsu or florida coaches would go for it on 4th & 5 on your 20(which happened to me yesterday) trying to make realistic as possible, if your down big in the game or down in the 4th you should be able to go for it!

what u say commish, rest of dynasty?

I think you should be able to go for it on 4th at any point in the fourth quarter. It's too easy to run the clock out if you're good.

Here's my take, if I'm on the opponent 45 or in and it's 4th and 2 or less I'm probably going to go for if I'm only up 7 or losing. I know we wanting this realistic, and I think that's pretty realistic. Say I'm up 7 with 2 minutes left and it's 4th and 2 on my oponent 40. That's the game if I convert on 4th but if I punt then I could possibly lose. I don't know, that's how I have always played and I try to
play the game as realistic as possible. By no means do I ever go for it on my own side of the field and I don't try to run up the score either. A win is a win

First off I don't think I was talking to you, secondly we are oml discussing the dynasty now. Are you in the dynasty? If so I'm sure the commisioner would be so kind as to schedule us this season so you can "school" me.

Yes he is in the Dynasty and yes you are scheduled to play each other.

I still don't like the 4th down rules. We are trying to make the game as realistic as possible, but in reality every game is different and there are different times to go for it.

What we are trying to avoid are the situations like IMex said above, a guy going for it on 4th and 5 on his own 30 early in the game. We could ban that if you wanted, but anybody who does that won't last in this dynasty anyways because they will get killed. I don't mind people going for it on 4th down. I'll just stop you. And I punt in punting situations, but there are too many situations that it makes sense to go for it on 4th down that under current rules you can't.

Haha I figured you meant now instead of not. How do you schedule the user vs user games? Do you make it where everyone plays the same amount of them? Or are all the OOC games user vs user and any inconference games are additional?

Try to make it the same amount...Sometimes you can't but will try to get everyone the close amount of user games.

b. Only in Wildcat formation may a running back take the snap and it has to be in a TRUE WILDCAT FORMATION.

4. 4th Down....Just be realistic as possible. Punt it when you should and go for it when you should. If you feel a user opponent is playing bush league during a user game. Make a note of it and bring it to the board. We will then discuss it and decide on it.

5. Chew Clock. You can only turn this on with 2 minutes left in each half.

6. No restarts against computer.
a. I understand things happen. If a game does freeze or you lose connection you will have one chance to restart. If it is restarted more then once you results will be thrown out and simulated.

Now a days watching football on Saturdays you see a lot of the home teams going for it on any 4th and 1 or 2 because that is what the fans want. I see that as being realistic. Probably not so much if I'm the road team but it all depends where I am at on the field. I would say anywhere past your own 40 or anywhere near midfield is acceptable.
