Crazy shit is on right now.
This old crackhead dude is all hopped up on morhine 24/7, his favorite hobby is to get online and search for email scams and do whatever they tell him to do. He is convinced the president of Nigeria is coming to his home soon to bring a treasure chest full of money.
Drugs man, drugs.

It's an amazing show. It boggles my mind that anyone could watch something like this and still want to try drugs. I've never had the urge to use any kind of drug and things like this just reinforce that.
One of the craziest episodes for me was the family that lost a daughter and a son to ODs and had another son still using. I believe he left rehab early and is still on drugs. Just insane.

I remember that one Fab.
I have a friend who is in REALLY bad shape right now because he's addicted to Oxycotin and Percecet. He stole his sister's Nintendo Wii to sell for drug money, stole her money she saved for basketball camp, was selling his stuff.. it's awful. I used to talk to this dude every day of my life, but it started to get to the point to where I would only here from him when he needed some cash because "his hours were cut at work". I was in denial about my friend's stupid habits, and in giving him money, I was being an enabler. I loaned him 100 bucks about 1 1/2 month ago and didn't hear from him until yesterday. His mom actually called me and asked me to try to convince him to go to rehab. I went to his house and he just walked up to me and lost it. He gave me a big hug and started crying.. he said "Cordell I'm a piece of shit. What the hell am I doing".. It was crazy. I told him I didn't care one bit about all the money, I just didn't want to see my brother end up dead.
(Cool story bro)
In the past few months I've really saw how drugs can ruin your life. We all know TB23 was down to smoke with anyone and everyone, but I even gave that shit up. Drug free for 6 weeks and I couldn't be happier about it.

Is that Geo C Scott on the far left? Looks like the ending to The Graduate, but he was not in it.

Intervention is a crazy show but I watch every new episode when they come on. I have a pretty deep interest in psychology and trying to figure out why people behave the way they do so I am naturally drawn to this show. The episode that sticks out the most to me was the guy with the drinking problem who owned a bunch of vegas tanning salons. I guess he died within two or three months of filming.

TB, good luck to your friend, I hope he finds his way in life. Sometimes people can find a way to get "that feeling" by other activities. The addiction is hell and will be there for the rest of his life (let's hope thats a long time!) But, with good support it leads to a greater life.
Not to mention the extra money people find themselves having that are put to better and more lasting things.
And congrats to you by the way for your committment to yourself!
