Everyone has a couple of movies that they enjoy every time they see them, even if you can't really explain why. For me two of the most recent examples are She's Out of My Leauge and Away We Go. Neither of which are all that great but I still find them both pretty enjoyable and re-watchable. What movies fit the bill for other chatters?

LOVE IT!!! I used to own it but it was lost in one of my many moves. I just rented it Saturday and fored wildcats to watch it. We made it about 30 minutes and he claimed he was tired. Then we ran out of time Sunday and never finished it. I am just going to rent it again and take it to Columbus this weekend....he can't get out of finishing this movie...even though he already hates it.

My favorite movies list is peppered with lame, cheesy and average movies.

Yeah, The Burbs is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. You should try the Target on Olentangy while you're down in Cbus, I found it there for 5 bucks a couple years ago.

Things to do in Denver when you're dead

The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford (the movie is so-so, but the cinematography is excellent especially in HD)

Army of Darkness.

The writing and acting is so bad...but I love that flick!

Anything with Steven Seagal! His movies have gone downhill, though, and that's saying something.

That movie got a lot of Oscar nominations, including (I believe) a Best Picture nod. If a movie is nominated for best picture, or even if it just picks up several nominations, I'd say that it's not really average.

For me it's A Knight's Tale and Into the Blue.

Lol, maybe if you compare it to movies today, but back in the day that was an awesome movie.

Maybe it should be worth noting again that I thought it was average and really only liked it for the cinematography.

How is Lost Boys a horrible movie? The 2nd one is but I wouldn't say the first is awful.

Lost Boys is so 80's, either you get it or you don't. It would never win an academy award but for the time it was a classic.

Dazed and Confused. Awful acting. Average story line. But a movie that I can watch over and over.

Vision Quest.

Very cheesy dialogue, terrible wrestling, unbelievable story line, but it has a great soundtrack and I love story anyway. I own the DVD and watch it all the time.

I admit Lost Boys isn't an academy award winner but I guess it's just not what I would call an awful movie.
