Yawn. I'm a Honda man, through and through.... however... I would buy the new Taurus in a heartbeat! One of the nicest looking cars I've ever seen.

FORD is indeed the GOAT.

And, yeah, the new Taurus is awesome. I badly want the SHO.

After the last couple of years I will from now on be a Ford driver. Ford is most certainly the top automaker out there.

The new Taurus is sweet looking although I have yet to see the SHO model on the road at least.

The meaningful gap in quality was closed several years ago. Yes, the foreign makes scored higher but if you could attach a real, as opposed to perceived, value on that gap it was insignificant. Of course, something to be said about perception, as always.

IMO, design has hurt the Big 3 more than anything in recent years. Anything they made that wasn't a truck or SUV was just ugly for so long with few exceptions. But it's nice to see they can now point to factual evidence of the closing of the quality gap to start changing perception.

Still, i don't know what the current cost per vehicle gap now is after all the recent restructuring, but when you have a $2000 per vehicle cost disadvantage and the big 3 were selling something like 9 million vehicles a year you see why they couldn't make a proft => that added up to $18B a year, folks.
