Great heart touching movie. Great story. Oher only played one season of high school football, it's amazing how some structure can really change peoples lives.

Read the book. Liked it alot. The movie looks a little cheesy in comparison to the book, but I'm sure I'll see the movie at some point

Is this about a Ravens player or is that just how they are making it in the movie?

I also read the book and I hope the movie doesn't suck. Movies never live up to the books.

I have read the book and hold it in high regard. I will see the movie at some point but the rumblings from a lot of people who liked the book as much I do are not good. I think people who have never read the book or heard the story will enjoy the movie more than those who haven't

I'm a little leery about seeing this movie. I remember watching ESPN's story (I believe on Outside The Lines) about Michael Oher going into the draft last season, and I'm not really sure this movie will be anything different.

Saw it last night. really good movie. Very sincere, adapted well from the book. Also thought sandra bullock looked hotter than usual. Played a great southern woman

I read the book and saw the movie tonight. The movie holds up very well. It's such a good story that there didn't need to be too many liberties taken and I'm thankful the producers didn't. Excellent movie.

Glad Disney did not do the movie. I'm sure if it had that Oher would have ended up quarterbacking a 98-yard drive after telling the coach to go home to win the state championship.

And Sandra Bullock was hot.

Yes he is rookie first round draft pick for the Ravens and their starting right tackle.

wow, this movie was GREAT IMO.. It is a 2 hour movie, and not once did I think to myself, "when is this going to end!" Sandra Bullock was terrific! I really loved the younger boy, what other movies is he in? I thought he was quite hilarious!

I strongly, strongly disliked it. For a few reasons.....though the entire story doesn't sit well with me, I did have an interest to check out the film, just to see how it was portrayed. I wasn't a fan, however, I could see how many people would enjoy such a story.

did you not feel the 'true story' was portrayed right?

Well, probably, I can't speak to it 100% of course....but, for me, it's the story in general that really makes me uncomfortable. I knew most of the details of the true story going into the film, but I simply wanted to see if the movie would perhaps sway my opinion of the story (which, to be honest, were really unfair expectations...), and it didn't.
