Unless it's obviously over the line and/or completely unprovoked, let it slide. If you're not quite sure "report" the post and we can discuss it in here to see if it warrants an infraction.

Honestly, the only reason I want to use it is for the stuff that goes on in pro sports between knute_rockne, al capone, SYL.

If someone says something stupid and gets called a dumbass, that isn't a personal attack.

If someone says something relevant and gets called a dumb fucking pedophile, that is a personal attack.

In general, I find that Fly4Fun's thoughts on this rule align with mine pretty damn closely so if he checks in before I do we can go with his ruling.

OK..sounds good...so what about the infraction thing that was mentioned in another thread, that went unanswered, for swearing in the high school forums? Just edit it out and pm them or use the infraction system?

For the HS forum, give them one warning. If they do it again give them an infraction.

I need to put the rules back up. Since the switch they haven't been posted. Oops!
