That was so intense. I am kind of surprised they ended the season on a cliffhanger like that, but it was an awesome episode.

Easily the best show on television at the moment. Bryan Cranston is a hell of an actor. To go from 'Malcolm in the Middle' to this show is a great display of his versatility as an actor.

It was showing how Walt is obsessive and has trouble making good decisions a lot of the time.
He and Jesse both have trouble accepting a good deal (Walt firing Gabe the first time and then the fly thing, etc as well as Jesse dealing on the side instead of just laughing to the bank with his mega lab money).

I understood the symbolism. I just thought it was an unnecessary episode. You could make those inferences without that episode. . . plus the episode was not entertaining. It just seemed so different from all the other episodes.
