Folks-- you guessed it: the Cheyenne, Wyoming city budget is not balanced. Be sure to let everyone know how much you care about this.
http://www.wyomingnews.com/articles/2009/11/16/featured_story/01top_11-16-09.txtCHEYENNE -- In the first four months of the city's fiscal year, revenues are $880,000 below target -- a deficit that exceeds that of the entire 2009 fiscal year.
On the bright side, said Mayor Rick Kaysen, expenditures for the city's $51.6 million budget also are less than expected, at 8 percent below forecast, keeping the city's bottom line out of the red -- so far, anyway.
