I definitely would not want to see a bunch of dolphins getting slaughtered.

The Cove won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film back in March I think. I've heard its a very intense movie. The film makers had to go undercover because the entire Japanese town didn't want word to get out about what they were doing.

I saw clips and they bang on metal making VERY loud noises that drive the dolphins crazy and then it drives the dolphins into this cove area and then they use these c-curve type spears to just slaughter the crap out of them. IT'S SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Crazy movie, watched it last weekend.
Would love to go to that town and feed those Japanese folks to the dolphins.

Watched a couple of weeks ago from Netflix and it's very intense and mind boggling that this stuff goes on. The lengths the people on the documentary go through to expose the truth is incredible. Gives you a new perspective on some of the crazy and horrific things going on out there. Watch it if you get the chance as it was very good.

Does anyone know what if anything "good" has come out of this film/documentary being made. Has this horrible slaughter stopped at all since it has been exposed???????????? Or was making this documentary and exposing this tragedy all for nothing????????

They actually said they got one town in Japan to stop slaughtering Dolphins themselves in the special Blood Dolphins. I believe it kept them from getting as many as they usually do as well.Scarlet_Buckeye;465918 wrote:Does anyone know what if anything "good" has come out of this film/documentary being made. I thought about watching it last night, but couldn't take anymore bleeding heart animal lovers after watching a couple episodes of Whale Wars.
