That happened to me on a thread I was clicking on yesterday.

Yes quite a bit. Sometimes I will get on and every thread title will be the unbolded font meaning I've read every topic on the page. Kind of confusing.

This stuff was previously tracked by a cookie on your machine that would time out after a while. I changed the setting to track views in the database. It uses more resources on the server, but as long as it doesn't drag the site down (and it hasn't seemed to yet) I will leave it as is. I think the current setting will be wiped out if you haven't logged in or visited the site in 7 days.

Mine are all taking me to the first post of the thread now, but I'm guessing that's just because Justin just made the change and it reset my old views.

the site does seem to be slow to me the last few days. but it could just be my computer.justincredible;387459 wrote:This stuff was previously tracked by a cookie on your machine that would time out after a while. Threads will now be bolded until you read them. If you double click all of the Forum icons to mark them as read it should kinda reset things for you and start fresh.
