We have the World Cup which is always fun.

The NBA free-agency class which has been brewing for a few years. A team with the best record in the NBA for past two years blowing it in play-offs and firing coach and bringing in a new GM.

Potential new college alignments completely changing the landscape of college athletics... most importantly NCAA Football.

And heck, we haven't even gotten into the typical Favre midsummer drama yet!

ccrunner: I am not a soccer fan but for some reason I love the world cup. I turn into a huge soccer fan during the world cup so I have to disagree with you there!

I don't like soccer, but I love watching soccer players fall down flailing all about as if their manhood just got ripped off, then having the trainer walk over, spray magic dust on them, and they pop right up and continue on playing. Big-time wimps, really bad actors, or both.

Eh, the NBA is A LOT worse when it comes to flopping, and acting. Hell every time one of them gets fouled it's like they were just shot point blank with a shotgun.

Soccer players aren't allowed to flop anymore. If the ref feels they're flopping, they get carded.

Get something else to bash about Soccer now.

Question, has anyone ever been sprayed with the magic spray? It is the most amazing shit ever. I broke my ankle and thought it was just a twist/sprian and had the stuff sprayed on me. I couldnt feel shit until 4am the next morning, when I realized it was broken. Played the last 22 minutes of the game and didnt feel anything that would make me think it was anything but a bad bruise. Ive used it on sprains as well.

Dont act as if its just some sort of ploy they use unless youve actually used it yourself. It is the single most effective numbing/whatever Ive ever come across. Now, the diving...well that shit pisses everyone off.
