At this point I tend to believe TMZ before ESPN. TMZ is actually a pretty reliable source, whereas ESPN just likes to start rumors and make predictions.

If it's true, you'll have orange and black OSU vs orange and black OSU ... hmmmm...

The source is T Boone Pickens.
More from twitter:
Jake_Trotter:
From the Oklahoman: OSU booster Boone Pickens: "We're in" -- if Big 12 exodus to Pac-10 happens. “It cost us, but we’re in.”

The OB is saying Texas is almost a done deal to the Pac10
from the other OB guy:

gkketch All that's left for the Longhorns at this point are the details. The wheels are in motion. Brakes are not being tapped.

DAMN! I wish Texas would have came to the Big 10. They are HUGE in this whole transition.

BTW, T. Boone Pickens has more say than the AD, so if he says it's true, it's true.

Ladies and gentlemen, the shit has officially hit the fan!

TMZ has actually announced that they will be launching TMZ sports later this year. I guess that with all of the Ben Rothlisburger and Tiger Woods type of stuff going on there's enough happening and enough of a demand for a sports gossip network.

If this is true then expect the other five schools (Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Missouri) to all announce their intentions within a week. The funny thing is that whoever gets Texas (Pac-10) will be the big winner while Texas will end up being a loser because they won't get the same sweet unequal revenue sharing deal they had in the Big XII.

Maybe that's why they went with the PAC10? I'll be curious to see if they do get an unequal share.

Texas will bully whoever to get what they want. They would do it to the Big Ten, and they'll do it to the Pac 10.

On the OB they have been talking about Texas more willing to take their chances with the Pac10 because the only money power is USC while the Big Ten has PSU, Michigan and OSU.

I still have no idea how Texas said to the Big XII "how about we give more money to the teams on TV the most instead of splitting it all evenly" and got them to agree to it. There's no way that they would get a majority of the new Pac-16 to agree to that kind if deal. The only other conferences with uneven TV revenue sharing are the Big East and the ACC and clearly Texas isn't going to join one of those conferences. They will either share revenue evenly in the Pac-10 or become an independent, which I don't think they will do because of the way state funding is done for UT.
